New Car Sealant-FK215 or FK2180 or Both?

Hi, I have just taken the delivery of a new Baleno (Premium Silver). And I was looking for DIY solutions for Waxing and Sealing the paint.
I’m a little confused whether I should go for the FinishKare 215 product or go for a full sealant in FinishKare 2180. Would it be prudent to layer both and top it up with C845 or would it be an overkill? I’m sorry if this is an elementary question as I’m very new to detailing.
Thank you in advance, will look forward to your response.

    Regards,
    Sujit

Please also suggest what should we do for plastic, dash board etc. I am planning for Aerospace 303+ 108AS , Is it OK? Which of the 02 products should be applied first?

Is FinishKare 215 + C 845 good for a new Pearl White colour of Ciaz?

Hi Sujit, FK215 is a 2in1 product (cleaner & sealant) as it will clean the paint as well as put a layer of Sealant on the paint. Especially someone who is starting to get into detailing and protect his car from elements. Half of this bottle actually contains FK2180 sealant.

Once comfort level of working on car goes up, you can straight go for FK2180 sealant. Preparation of car paint is important (good clean paint before applying it). This can be achieved by using a good car shampoo without any polymers/wax in it (plain car shampoo like DG 905).

    Hi VK,

For plastic in car best is actually FK108AS, I say that because it is way more longer lasting then Aerospace 303 and can be used on any thing plastic or vinyl, even in the engine bay wires, rubber etc. It cleans and turns black, BLACK, not shiny black. It can also be used on tires using a foam pad. Must have product!

A303 is good for dashboard mostly as it has a good UV protection which FK108AS does not have. A bit more shiny effect though, then FK108AS.

I would not suggest using both products together though on same area.

Yes, FK215 and C845 is a good combination for a pearl white car. If you want to give it a unique white look, you can also try FK2685 wax after FK215. Car will look a different shade of white. Which some people like for a change.

Is Fk108AS to be used only on black plastic ? My car interior is Beige colour plastic, what should I use for this?

FK108AS works best for Black or dark gray. For Beige 303 will work better rather than FK108AS in my view.

For Window Glasses and windscreen try following products:

    Glass Scrub

    Rain Clear:

For removing minor scratches use Diamondite Glasswork restorer:

you will need a buffing machine with a special pad for glass to apply it, though.

Thanks for ur clear reply. But I am still not sure what to use for dash board for my Ciaz which is black and needs uv protection, while all other plastic on doors is Beige colour? ??

What polish or wax should be used for white bumpers? ?

Sorry for putting up so many questions, hope u will reply. Thanks in advance.

You can definitely use FK108 Top Kote on dash board, Although 303 is more potent for dash boards. For Beige try top kote on a little area and see if color is affected. If not you are good to use Top Kote there as well.
